GavinHeath Announces Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Board

In December 2021, GavinHeath formed a DEI Board to ensure we are continuing to support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in relation to our hiring practices.  Board Members include Chair Dan Lewis, Rachelle Salem, Joseph Fischer, Zach Everett, Joseph Waber and Daniel Steele.

The first task of the Board was to create a mission statement to translate GavinHeath's values, deliver clarity, provide purpose and demonstrate the company's commitment to providing an inclusive and equitable workplace.

GavinHeath DEI Statement & Board Mission

GavinHeath is more than just a company who includes everyone; we are a woman owned, small business who embodies belonging by striving to embrace all humankind through intention, respect, and equity. Our people are the most valuable asset we have. The collective sum of the individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, inventiveness, innovation, self-expression, unique capabilities, and talent that our employees invest in their work represents a significant part of not only our culture, but the services we provide to our candidates and clients.

GavinHeath’s DEI Board is devoted to fostering, cultivating, preserving and advancing a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The DEI Board supports our team in mirroring the diversity of the communities where we operate. Through our team of varied experiences, individuals and beliefs, our goal is to cultivate an environment - and ultimately an industry - based on respect, understanding, and welcomed inclusion of those differences.

GavinHeath formed the DEI Board to be more than a 'tick of the box' in diverse staffing. Through listening, learning, and acting, the Board shall ensure GavinHeath provides our partners, clients, and community with the best talent- regardless of age, gender, sex, disability, race, religion, political view, and perspective - because ultimately it is about us all. We will work with both our customers and candidates to ensure all parties are in sync with current diversity trends, initiatives, goals, and experiences. We will advocate on behalf of those who may not have a voice and provide the proper resources, guidance and education to aid all candidates in achieving their career goals.
